Okay blogging time!  By the way Nelly is a boy just had to say that before we get started today!  Nelly's real name is Cornell Haynes Jr.  He stars in the movie the longest yard he is so AWESOME!  I love the song just a dream by him it is one of my favorite songs  it rocks!  He also has a song called party people I have that one on my mp3 player I have to listen to it yet.  Im excited to hear it are you going to listen to both of those songs!  He is a hip hop recording artist, actor, and an entrepreneur.  WOW!  Thats a lot of things right?  Yupp also a song writter.  Okay got to go bye!

Troy Polamalu's middle name is Aumua he is AWESOME at football and he has A LOT of power!  he very good at football he is one of my favorite football players! I asked for his jersey for Christmas AWESOME right!  Do you like Troy Polamalu?  He is a strong safety.  He is so awesome!  He was born on April 19 1981 he is 29 years old that is kind of young but not really don't you think?  He was born in Garden, Grove, California.  Okay got to go bye!

Hanukkah

Hi today we are going to talk about Hanukkah!  Okay lets start!  Did you know that they have a big candle that has 4 little candles on each side and 1 big candle in the middle?  There is a Chanukkah called Festival of lights.  Have you ever been to a Hanukkah party before?  I haven't but I would like to!  It would be soooo...... cool they have a big parade!  Also the Festival of lights is eight days long.  I did not not know that but it is pretty cool!  I hope you learned something so far okay lets keep going!  Also the Festival of lights is a Jewish Holiday and it starts on the 25th day of Kislev.  It is between November and December.  Kislev means the third of civil year the ninth month of ecclesiastical year in the Jewish calender.  Kislev has 30 days and sometimes 29 days.  I didn't know that did you?  Well got to go bye!

Simple invertebrates

Did you know that simple invertebrates are all different kinds of animals that don't have a backbone.  Did you also know that animals can be arranged into two groups invertebrates and vertebrates.  Did you know that?  I think this is important to me because I did not know this and now I do!  After you read my blog would you like to be an invertebrate?  Okay got to go bye!

Starfish

Have you ever heard or saw a starfish well if you haven't then you will you learn something today.  Okay lets start!  Did you know that starfishare living things cool right some starfish are also called sea stars because they are the stars of the sea.  I think it is pretty cool because I like sea creatures.  After you read my blog would you like to be a starfish they also move on top of their food to eat it their mouths are on the the bottom of it!  Okay got to go bye!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving means a lot to me like celebrating with family and friends and giving thanks.  I am thankful for having my family,friends,and Jesus/God in my life. Thanksgiving was made by the Indians and Pilgrims the Pilgrims sailed on three ships called The Mayflower,Pinta, and Nina.It was very nice of the Indains.

baseball

Hello!  This is Taylor and today we are going to talk about baseball.  This is what you do when you are infield is you where a helmet on your head and you grab a bat and practice swinging the bat.  And then when it is your turn you step up to the plate and the ball will be coming at you and you will try to hit it and if you do then you try to run to first base and second and third and home but try not to get out and now we will talk about outfield!  Okay now when you are outfield you have spots you might be on a base or in between two bases.  And you will try to get them out!  Okay and if you catch or they catch the ball then that is an out and there are three outs but if you strike out well then you gave your team an out and you stop bating but not for the whole game though.  You will get another turn to bat.  I hope you learned something today!!!!!!!  Okay got to go bye!!!!!!!!!!!

This  week I learned about  possessive plural and singular nouns and also this is what they mean plural possessive nouns have   s'  and singular possessive nouns have  's.  And in spelling we had pretty easy words.  I learned a new word and here it is the word is warp and it means <to bend>.  In reading we read a  story called How Ben Franklin Stole The Lighting!!!!!  Okay got to go bye!!!!!!!!!

danger to an ant

Today we are going to talk about ants!   did you know that ants are always busy.  Are you always busy too like an ant?   They work peacefully until danger comes that would be a lizard.  You better watch out because they come close.     The guards attack right away of the ants anyway.  I think this is important to me because I like insects.  I hope that you learned something today.  Okay  got to go bye!!!!!!!!!!

Basketball

What I learned in school

I learned about elapsed time it was pretty cool I think.I also learned that roundworms live in pigs and Mr.Orlano blogged about Mr.Orlano blogged about Mr.Simmelink wining the golden apple award.His class is right next door.I learned that blogging is pretty cool.I think school is important to me because I  can learn more. Flatworms

Flatworms are simple worms with long soft bodies that are flat.Their solid bodies have only one opening for taking in food and getting rid of wastes.I think it is cool don't you my last blog was about  roundworms and now it is about flatworms.I think it is important to me because I like worms.Did you know that flatworms are also scavengers cool right. Tapeworms are flatworms that are parasites.After you read my blog would you want to be a flatworm?Ok got to go bye!

Roundworms

Roundworms have bodies that are more complex than the bodies of a flatworm. Did you know that roundworms are parasites?One type of roundworm lives in pigs.I think it is pretty weird, don't you?  Did you know that a round worm has two opening instead of one?  Round worms are not like worms because worms don't live in pigs and they live in the ground.  I think it is pretty wierd but also cool.  I think it is pretty wierd because roundworms live in pigs but I think it is also cool because I didn't know that there was another kind of worm.

microbes

Hi this is Taylor.  Did you know that microbes are these living things that can only be seen with a microscope?  Cool right?  Okay, here is the experiment.  Put a drop of pond water on a slide, and then put tap water on another slide, and then look at each slide under a microscope and tell me if you can see the microbes.  I think this is important to me because I want to be able to do a lot of expermints when I get older.  I wish I had a microscope.  Okay, I think I'm done.  I hope you learned something?
