The incredible journey (my made up chapter)!

Hi this is Taylor I am going to talk about my guided reading book that I just finished.  The book is about these two dogs and a cat.  They ran away from home and they came to a river and lost the cat.  Okay lets start with my made up chapter. 
                      Chapter 12

Then the next day the two dogs and the cat run away from home again then the come upon a group of Indians and they started to give the dog food and then the cat came along and took the food from the dog.  the dog did not  like that because he went 10 days with no food and the dog was very hungry.  So then later on they leave the group of Indians and come to a lake and they start to drink from it and then all the sudden a hunter comes and starts to shot at the animals so the dog tipped over the trash can and it spilled everywhere and it fell in the water.  The dogs and cat had no choice besides to swim to the other side, but the cat did not like water at all, but the cat jumped in the water and tried to swim and got lost in the river.  Then the two dogs were hopeless and they had to go on without the cat and they did.  Then they finally got home.      THE END!

Old Yeller! (I'm done with the book!)

Okay Taylor here!  I'm going to talk about my book that I just got done reading!  It's called Old Yeller!  I love the book Old Yeller, but it's sort of sad but then at the end because Travis had to shoot Old Yeller that was sad!  Okay Old Yeller got hydrophobia so that's why Travis had to shoot Old Yeller.  Hydrophobia is pretty much rabies.  Old Yeller got rabies because of the wolf the wolf bit him and so he got hydrophobia!  When Lisbeth came over to help Travis and mama... and brought a baby puppy!  That's where we start the funny part because at the end when Old Yeller dies the little puppy starts to act like Old Yeller it's sort of funny!  Well bye!

Margays!

Hi this is Taylor well of course you know that!  Do you know what a margay is?  Well it's an endangered animal that lives in Central and South America, Mexico.  At first I did not know what a margay is but after I did some researching then I found out a little bit but not all!  So I'm just learning now.  So I thought it was a good topic to blog about.  So I started blogging I think it might be a pretty cool animal!  Well here's a picture of a margay!  At first I thought it was a cat just a normal cat.  A margay is sort of like a tiger it lives in a forest I think!  About 10,000 margays left in the world.  Have you ever seen a margay?

Gold!!

Hey it's Taylor and today I am going to talk about gold!  Did you know that I would like to pan for gold if I could.  I think if I would find gold maybe we could be really RICH!  Do you think my parents would let me?  Probably not though!  Okay lets start talking about gold!  In reading we read a book called The Gold Rush Game.  Have you ever read that story?  Did you know that 1 pound in gold is 20,904.73!  Wow!  Gold today is a lot of money but back then gold was only worth 90 or 80 dollars!  Someday I might try panning for gold.  What about you?  Some people don't really care about gold and some people do.  Do you care about gold or not?  Gold was often found in California!

Computers!

Hey, today I am going to talk about computers!  Computers can really come in use like for example computers are like a dictionary online.  Most of the time you might use the computer instead of a dictionary.  Am I right?  So if  you have a computer at your house you probably use it more than a dictionary tell me if I am right when you comment below!  If you decide not to comment then it's okay!  Well I do know that I use the computer a lot!  I know that most of the time I use it for YOUTUBE!  Or for GAMES!  Or to blog about thing like I am right now.  Did you know the first computer was invented in 1837.  Well see ya later bye!

American Paint horses!

Do you know what (APHA) stands for American Paint horse association.  Well now you know.  this person that I will talk about is the person that brought  the American Paint horses to America.  I have an  American Paint horse on my farm.  We use our American Paint horse for help on our farm or to have fun and ride and show them.

Old Yeller!!

Okay today I am going to talk about the book that I am reading for guided reading.  It talks about a dog named Old Yeller.  It's a pretty good book so far.  I think someday I hope you will read it if you haven't read the book yet.  I hope I get done with it pretty soon.  I think the dog would be fun to have.  The main people are Travis, Little Arliss, Mama, Old Yeller, and Bud Searcy.
